Searching for suppliers

With patent-pending technology, the Panda Search platform filters Google search results for businesses looking for products and services. With a focus on Business-to-Business (B2B), the search marketplace offers colourful and user-friendly click button technology — with a privacy screen.

A perfect match for your search request is offered – when we have a seller who has joined our platform and chooses you as their preferred customer.

We also deliver the human touch with offering a free sourcing service when your search on the platform delivers unsatisfactory results.

The Panda Search platform is owned by Personalised Online Directories Pty Ltd, based in Sydney Australia.

The Google algorithms can be unreliable. You are required to enter which keywords you believe will get you the best search results. Your search results may be wasting your time and money – and impacting your privacy online. And includes your search history which in many cases, will be irrelevant to your current search.

On the Panda Search platform, we filter the Google results to deliver you personalised search results. In the case of a business, matching your search criteria with your type of business, or specialised product. We also do not keep track of your search requests thereby protecting your data from nasty algorithms.

We may even provide you with a perfect match for your search request – when a seller who matches your search criteria has joined our platform.

Our sellers use our cutting-edge marketing software to push their offerings to you – so you know that you are exactly the type of customer they wish to service.

The search service for Panda Search is FREE. If you complete an Ask us to Source For You form – to ask us to find a product or service for you – the service is FREE. Our revenue is generated by advertisers who register on our platform to showcase their products and services on the Panda Search platform.

The many components working in synch include:

  • A network of over 68 Personalised Online Directories. Every Directory has a premium domain name so they are easily remembered by our customers.
  • The Panda Search Product & Service Framework was developed by an Australian business psychologist with significant experience in both small business and corporate sectors.Over 1500 product and service categories are available – and growing everyday. While this provides millions of potential search pathways, our innovative design makes it fun and easy to use and navigate.
  • For advertisers or sellers who register on our platform – specially designed cloning software. With tick box technology, they choose which markets to showcase their offerings and copy all their content in seconds to multiple markets or directories.
More About the Tech

No. While we continue to build and develop the platform, our sourcing team seeks out new sellers or advertisers, on your behalf, in the case of your search results being unsatisfactory.

AI tools can be useful for general research, but they are not always the best way to source reliable B2B suppliers. When you ask AI for supplier recommendations, the results may be incomplete, outdated, or based on publicly available information that has not been verified. AI may also miss local, specialist, niche, or emerging suppliers that are highly relevant to your business needs.
Why is Panda Search a better solution?
Panda Search is built specifically to help businesses find suitable B2B suppliers across Australia.
Instead of giving broad or generic search results, Panda Search focuses on supplier discovery, business relevance, and practical sourcing needs. It helps customers find suppliers that match their specific requirements, location, category, service capability, and business market.
Panda Search is also designed to support Australian suppliers who may not always appear prominently in search engines or AI-generated answers, giving buyers a more targeted way to discover real supplier options.
Simple answer
AI can help you research. Panda Search helps you source.
For businesses looking for suppliers, Panda Search provides a more focused, supplier-specific and Australia-wide platform than relying on general AI search alone.
The best use of AI. We highly recommend using AI to compare your suppliers, once you have, say, 3 suppliers to provide quotes. An AI program such as ChatGPT or Claude - will compare them and provide some advice about what to look for, what to ask etc. Keep in mind that if there is a supplier for your query at the top of your search results, and has a colourful profile - this means they have joined the Panda Search platform as a supplier, have been verified by our team and have specifically targeted you as their preferred customer. Contact us for specific instructions in how to get the most of your AI for this purpose.

Personalised Online Directories

No. We do not charge commissions. Our intent is to make the business model behind our platforms easy to understand for businesses and a cost effective solution that can be budgeted for every year, with no surprises.

We created the Panda Search platform because we identified a gap in the Australian market. As business owners ourselves, we had searched for an online marketing solution that:

  • Focused on Business-to-Business (B2B)
  • Made our business stand out online for our preferred customers — and easy to find at any time
  • Was dependable in terms of what internet sales outcomes could be achieved for our business for our $ investment (eg: we had experience of spending $3,500 on SEO for 3 months which led to only 1 enquiry)
  • Allowed us to change our approach online depending on what market we were targeting (ie: market segmentation)
  • Did not rely on costly IT or online marketing consultants on a month-to-month basis
  • Did not take up a lot of our time; and
  • Did not break our budgets

We found that a solution that offered all these benefits simply did not exist. Also, it was difficult for us to identify an effective and cost friendly strategy which ensured that customers from our target market, or our HOT PROSPECTS would easily find our business online.

So, to assist other sellers, advertisers and suppliers facing similar needs and challenges, we launched Suppliers Online in Sydney Australia in 2018 as a pilot project. Following from this success – we launched other B2B directories customised to business types (e.g. Health Suppliers) – and expanded to the Product Specialisation market.

We consult with you to develop your profile on your behalf, or you can do it yourself quickly and easily using the DIY Online Marketing System. Our team then takes over and makes all your profiles on your preferred markets searchable, using categories and service locations to suit your business needs. We then optimise your profile for SEO and AEO. In summary, with us working together on your listing, it is optimised for both user friendliness, sales copy optimisation (e.g. elevator pitch) - in addition the technical adjustments for AI bots to scan your listing for user queries.

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation. It means improving your online presence so your Panda Search business profile is more likely to be found in search engine results, such as Google, when customers search for products or services you offer.
AEO stands for Answer Engine Optimisation. It means improving how your Panda Search business profile appears in AI-powered search tools, voice assistants, and answer-based platforms that give customers direct answers instead of just showing a list of websites.
For suppliers, both SEO and AEO are important because business buyers are changing how they search. Some still use traditional search engines, while others use AI tools to ask direct questions like, “Who is a good supplier of X for my school in Penrith?”. In summary, Panda Search helps suppliers improve their visibility for both traditional search behaviour and modern AI-style search behaviour by presenting clear, structured supplier information that business buyers can easily find, understand, and act on.
